You can make it at L.A. Prep.

As a member of the L.A. Prep community, you'll have a leg up in the competitive and sometimes confusing world of wholesale food production. When you move to L.A. Prep, you'll be surrounded by like-minded food producers, and supported by industry experts with the experience, expertise and contacts to help guide your success. And you'll be in a space that is specifically designed from the ground up with the singular goal of helping you succeed.  

L.A. Prep opened its state-of-the-art production center in April 2015, complete with all the following amenities:   

  • 50 pre-approved state of the art kitchen spaces
  • 3 loading docks
  • One block from the Metro Gold Line Lincoln/Cypress Station
  • On-site parking
  • Health & Safety Support
  • Health Department Intern on site
  • Logistics and dock receiving assistance-- staffed warehouse
  • Can hold gluten-free, organic and third-party certifications
  • Demonstration kitchen/test kitchen
  • Classroom space
  • Co-working space/conference rooms

Through Food Centricity, all tenants have access to a full array of on- and off-site business and production services including product ideation, development and testing, marketing, sales, distribution, finance/accounting, legal, purchasing and logistics, among others, to help each of the members take their products to market and accelerate their growth.

L.A. Prep is in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood, just minutes from Downtown Los Angeles. Getting there is easy — it's one block from the Metro Gold Line’s Lincoln/Cypress Station. 

L.A. Prep will house 50 innovative food businesses, including L.A. Kitchen a non-profit enterprise that uses the power of food to foster volunteerism, civic and social engagement.
